Maggie Roof (b. 1996, Georgia) received a B.F.A. in Painting with a minor in Museum Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Georgia in the spring of 2019. Roof’s current work focuses on her interest in landscape. She is particularly interested in bodies of water within the landscape that contain dynamic reflections. Specifically, reflections consisting of a range of color variations based on the landscape’s surroundings. Through her work, she hopes to convey the simple beauty of nature. Roof is currently working and exhibiting in Savannah, GA.
